Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jan 29th, 2003, 8:59pm "Then we will go." Helmson says. Eigil glares at him. Byt Helmson ignores it and walks determinedly forward. Eigil follows reluctantly. With you leading him. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jan 29th, 2003, 9:03pm I tread carefully, sword in hand. My path got worse and worse. Suddenly we broke through the trees. Before lay long prairies, and blue mountains graced the far horizon. But between us and them was a broad river of mud. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jan 30th, 2003, 9:42pm 'Threr sits up in his saddle a little. "What do we do now?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jan 30th, 2003, 9:44pm "We try some things. Helm, would you mind checking the depth?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jan 30th, 2003, 9:57pm Helmson nods and walks forward into the mud. But his legs seem to go right through it, as though it weren't there. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jan 30th, 2003, 10:05pm ((an illusion?)) I poke stick into it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jan 31st, 2003, 10:55pm The stick goes staright through with little resistence. Though after a foot, you meet solid gorund. When you remove the stick there is no residue of any kind. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jan 31st, 2003, 10:57pm I carefully try my foot inside the river. ((At any hint of wetness I pull it straight out.)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jan 31st, 2003, 11:13pm You feel only a strange sensation like air being wafted around your ankle. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jan 31st, 2003, 11:23pm I took another step, and another. Before long I was leading the others across. Aguthrer's eyes seemed to get bigger and bigger. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 12:15am You are in the middle of the so-seen river, when you feel sucking at your feet. You look down to see that mud is rising around you, real mud. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 12:37pm I hurry across, trying to step as lightly as I could. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 3:51pm The horses, not so light as you keep sinking lower into the mud. 'Thre, frightened stiff, clings to Eigil's neck. The horses struggle but it only gets them more stuck. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 3:57pm I wrap the horse's leads around my tail, and pull on them steadily. I hold out my arms. "Aguthrer! Jump!" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 7:21pm The young demon remains steadfastly clamped to the dun neck. Eigil tosses his head uncomfortably. Helmson reaches over and nudges Aguthrer's neck. The boy looks up and sees you holding out your arms. He looks scaredly at you and the mud, but disintangles himself from the stirrups and reins, and leaps. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 7:24pm He fell short, and I quickly hauled him out of the mud. I took off his boots and dried his feet as fast as I could, aided by my inner fire. I nudged him further up the bank, and then took the horses' leads in my hands. "Are doing okay?" I shouted to them. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 7:53pm "Do we look like we're doing okay?" Eigil shouts as he flounders in the mud, breast high. "There's no footing. Pull on the ropes harder, Demon!" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 7:54pm I put my weight into them, leaning backwards. If something gave I would find myself sitting in the grass. I wrapped the ropes around a tree and set my foot against it. ((makeshift pulley)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:22pm The horses struggle out of the mud, finally walking on to the dry ground. Eigil immediately lies down on his side, chest heaving. Helmson stays standing, but his head is between his legs as he cataches his breath. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:24pm "Perhaps we'd better stop here for the night," I said, wiping mud off Helmson's back. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:30pm There is a unanimous agreement and you walk over to the shade of a tree.
-you get...lets say 50 xp for the mud thing Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:33pm Threr crawled next to me nervously. Finally he fell asleep with his head in my lap. The horses, after recovered, grazed their way towards us. I dozed off. ((dun dun dun....)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:42pm You wake up with a start as vice like tendrils (or something) wrap around your neck. You scratch at the bonding shoots in vain. The rough texture of bark rubs gainst your throat. Aguthere is a few feet away, yelling wildly. You see that a leafy shoot had gotten hold of his arm, and more are headed towards him. The horses neigh wildly, out of reach of the attack. As you struggle with the branches around you neck, roots spring up from the ground and begin to wrap around your legs. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:44pm "Aguthrer, get out of her-" I choked as the vines tightened. Instinct yelled out me to struggle, and struggle I did. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:49pm Your flailing is useless. The tendrils constrct tighter and tighter around you. Aguthrer tries to free himself, but a soon as one shoot is clear, another has grabbed hold. Helmson lets out a frenzied whistle and runs forward. He quickly bites through the shoots and yanks Threr up onto his back. He runs back to Eigil. Auythrer scrambles down from the horses back. "Stay still," Helmson tries to tell him, but the boy will have none of it. "No. I won't leave him!" He yells. He yanks the sword off of Eigils back and starts to run towards the tree. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:51pm I struggled for breath. Stars winked in front of me and grey lined my sight. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 8:58pm As Threr chaarges, a large branch comes flying out and scoops him up, wrapping tightly around his middle. He hacks at it, making a dent. A pericing, crecking shriek echoes from the trunk. The tendril wriggles, and lets him go. He drops ten feet to the ground with a loud thump. The branch recedes, and your bonds do as well. It appears that the tree had had enough.
(nother 25 xp- if i kept track of npc stats, There would get more cause he attacked (heh)) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:01pm I gasped in sweet air. I slowly crawled out of range of the tree, dazed. The ground felt soft as I lay on it. I closed my eyes, still taking long draughts of oxygen. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:07pm You hear hooves walking towards you. "It appears that this place is worse then the ledgends. We must remember never to trust even the smallest pebble." Helmson's deep voice says. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:08pm I get to my feet, putting an arm around Helmson's neck. "Y-yes..I see...Aguthrer? Are you all right?"

Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:16pm The young demon is sitting in the grass. He nodds meekly. "We should ne moving on." Eigil says. "There is little time to doddle." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:19pm I nod. "Come on, Threr. Let's go." I mount Helmson with difficulty. My feet had trouble getting in the stirrups. I aimed my course again, hoping I knew the stars as well as I thought I did. But I was pretty certain of them. Don't live your whole life outside for nothing..... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:31pm You travel for a few hours without event. As you get tired, you look for a place to camp. You find a slate rock bed, and decide thats the best place. Rock was one of the most innert things for magick, and that would be the safest place. Helmosn, saying he isn't tired, takes the first watch. (one adavantage to talking Horses) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:32pm I thought about living rocks, and didn't manage to get asleep for a long time. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:42pm Finally you fall asleep, and do not wake untill Eigil nudges you awake for your watch. At the end of your watch, the suns rays are peaking over the distant horizon. You wake up the rest of the company and, after a quick breakfast, set out again. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 9:45pm The hills inched forward as the sun got hotter. It felt so warm I was ready to take off my shirt for some of the heat. I had not been this warm since.... But the horses didn't like it. Eigil was continuely grunbling. Helmson said nothing, but his dark coat was made darker with sweat. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:02pm Suddenly, a cold wind blows fericely towards you. Icy cold. Then you are engulfed by fog. Then it, starts to snow- heabilly. A blizzard. The horses neigh loudly, wile There' is yelling from pain. You own skin starts to hiss. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:04pm I got off of Helmson and quickly rooted through the packs for thicker clothes. And hooded cloaks. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:26pm No sooner do you find the cloaks, then the blizzard stops, as quickly as it had come. The fog clears, and leaves a barren landscape before you. A reddish haze covers all. You look up and see that the sky seems to be on fire, or something close to it. It looks almost like the landscape back home, but hotter. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:29pm I keep a hold of the cloaks just in case. The heat dries away most of the painful moisture. I lead Helmson on determinedly. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:44pm As you walk, the fire and lava above seems to grow brighter. Then, a rumbling starts. At first, A quiet grumble, but steadilly growing into a loud roar. the sky shakes unthingyrollably, and bits of burning rock start to fall down. "Ow!" Aguthere yells out, having been hit on the head. When the shaking stops, you go over to see if the boy is all right. He seems to be allright, but he is holding something in his hand- the object which had hit him. You have never seen the likes of it before. It appears to made of metal, though no kind of metal you recognixe. It is slightly L like in shape. Aguthere turns it over in his hands. His fingers fondle A slightly curved stick that extruded from part of it, encircled bu a quarter cirlcle. He jiggles the stick. A clicking sound is heard, and then a loud bang. The whole party jumps. You walk forward and quickly take the thing out of a shocked Aguthere's hand before he hurts someone. You delicately hold the object. In the ground there is a small hole. Inside the hole is a small metal pellet. You pick it up, puzzled. (figured out what it is yet?) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:48pm ((yup lol)) I jiggle it again, and pplay with a switch in the side. We all jump as the thing blows again. ((hopefully its not pointed towards us....)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:54pm You continue to jiggle it, having ascertained where the pellets came out, and poitning it safely at the ground. You pull back something, and the object seems to open up. You shake it, and 4 more pellets fall out. They are slightly larger than the othre two. You pick them up,along withthe other two, and what appear to be empty shells of them of the ground, and stow the hole mess in one of the saddle bags. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 10:55pm I give threr his cloak, to cover his head so more things wouldn't rain down on his head. We continue towards the hills. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 11:02pm You reach the hills without further incident, aside from occasional holes popping up, and clumps of grass moving around. You guess the little light display had worn out a lot of magic. By the way, the sky is clear again. You reach a small line of trees, behind wich is a tall stone wall, though crumbled with age. Helmson announces that hey are at the edge of Eran Cal, and of Kymora.
50 xp for making it (heh, feeling like giving it out) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 2nd, 2003, 11:05pm "Good." And finally, I added in my head. "We'll have to find a way to cross the wall. Our destination is still pretty far off." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 3rd, 2003, 10:03pm You spread out to look for an opening that can accomodate the group to pass through. Finally you find a hole that helson can just manage to squeeze trough. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 3rd, 2003, 10:05pm We lead our horses through. On the other side the land is desolate and barren. A desert lies on the horizon. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 3rd, 2003, 10:24pm Eigil shakes his head, and walks forward reluctantly. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 3rd, 2003, 10:27pm I closed my eyes, trying to remember where I was going. Across the desert, turn towards red rocks...water was there for the horses, and numerous hiding spots among the network of tunnels under the sand. Such warm tunnels...wonderful... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 3rd, 2003, 10:34pm You continue on untill you reach the red rocks. A starnge clicking is eminating from somewhere among them. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 3rd, 2003, 10:35pm I stop, uncertain. Eigil snorts and paces uneasily. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 12:54pm (i'm still braindead on this adventure, pluss I just got my eyes dilated and my vision is fudgemonked) "Something isn'e right," he says wile stamping his hoof. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 1:12pm Somewhere rocks shift and a few drop to the ground at our feet. I take out my bow and string it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 10:58pm "You hear a low growling above you. You lok up to see a hunched beast looming on a wall of rock above you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:00pm I nock an arrow, and aim. I wait for the beast to make the first offensive move however. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:09pm The beast stays still for a moment. Then it turns and looks back at you. It seems to be beckoning you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:10pm I blink a few moments and lower my bow. I urge Helmson forward. I tense, in case the beast makes any sudden moves. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:30pm The beast leads you to a small openeing in the rock. It stops at the opening looks back at you, then disappears inside. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:34pm I hesitate, but sling my bow over my shoulder. I draw my dagger and go into the opening, blade first. "If I don't come out in an hour, expect the worst," I whispered to helmson. "And take care of the boy."

Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:40pm Helmson nods, and you duck into the cave, inside it is pitch dark, but you follow the sound of the claws of the beast on the stone floor. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:41pm We break into some kind of opening, for suddenly there is no walls or ceiling near me. I stop, confused in the dark. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:57pm Their is a scraping sound like a very large match being lit. Light fills the room. Showing you a large cavern filled with hundreds of trees. They tower above you, leaves mingling to form a leafy canipy. You see dozens of species, some of witch you have never seen. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 6th, 2003, 11:58pm I just sit there, dumbfounded, wondering where this came from. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:22am The beast walks out from behind a trunk and looks at you. It's eyes are a deep amber color, and you see that its body is faintly reminicent of a leopard.(or the Midus equivalent thereof) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:24am I get to my feet slowly, still holding the dagger. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:49am The beast walks forward slowly, fur glistening. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:52am Suddenly Verde broke out of the trees. She zoomed around the creature's head, squeaking fiercely. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:56am The creature watches the salamander for a moment, then swipes her paw. In a falsh, Verde's tail is pinned under a paw with its claws retracted. The beast seems unaffected by the fire. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:57am Verde squeals in terror and curls in a ball around the creature's paw. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 01:21am The creature lifts its paw and Verde immediately flies and curls around your neck. The yes of the beast catch yours, boring into your mind... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 7th, 2003, 12:09pm I groan and look down, trying to shake away the alien presence in my mind. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 8th, 2003, 7:39pm The panther like beast remains still, not moving a muscle, not making a sound. The trees around you seem to be leaning forward in anticepation, waiting for something. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 6:18pm ((braindead)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 10:38pm (psst, say something) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 10:55pm ((I dont have anything to say!)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 11:11pm (okay, the panther can talk, but she won't intitiate the conversation- so say something) (pwease?) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 11:15pm ((ok ok)) "What is this place? I don't remember its being here." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 11:37pm "You wouldn't. I just brought you here to give you something" the panther says in a feminine voice. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 10th, 2003, 11:42pm "Give me what?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 11th, 2003, 9:41pm ((okay, lemme figure this out, it was sumthin bout keepin the brat safe( hehe, brat, heh) now lesse, ok here goes)) The panther twitches her tail and one of the trees extends a branch towards you, something is dangling from it, twinkling in the dim light. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 14th, 2003, 6:01pm ((not another necklace, I've already got several and don't make it a broach either, I have an idea for one already anyone)) I take it gingerly, using my talons to hold it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 8:35pm In his hand is a fine circlet. It looks as if it were made for a young child. Ropes of silver and copper twine around eachother to form the main part, wile small round stones sit at peridoic intervals around it, 5 in all. Each stone is a different color-blue,green,red,black,and white. "The boy will be needing that." the panther says, and disappears. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 8:38pm But what is it? I wanted to shout after the panther. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 8:58pm The trees around you grow restless, as though they don't think you should be there. With every passing moment, the hostility in the air thickens. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 9:00pm I snarl at them, annoyed, and back out. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:00pm Helmson whinnies happily when you emerge, you put the circlet in your pack. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:06pm "What was that?" Aguthrer asks, voice shaking. "Nothing to worry about. It won't bother us. And if it does..." I grimaced and put one hand on my sword. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:17pm Aguthere seems calmed by your words and he looks out over the plains. "Where are we going now?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:18pm "Up in the rocks." I considered the horse's hooves. "There should be a route over this way..." I started Helmson in my chosen direction. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:28pm You go over to the path. Its rough, but the well shod, nimble footed horses do just fine. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:30pm Something felt wrong. I pulled up Helmson. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:44pm Eigil shies to the side as a small fiery hole appears on the ground. More holes appear arouns it untill you are literally seeing spots. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 10:51pm I reached for Eigil's reins and held them tight. I felt sick suddenly, sick with fear as well as guilt. Idiot to bring him here, idiot to bing him closer to the real danger... The world aroiund began to fade...I felt sicker....nothing was tangible anymore....the sky turned red.... And it an instant, it was over. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:00pm The horses whinny in fear, but Aguthrer sighs with comfort. Molten lava swirls arounf the horses hooves as they stand on dusty black earth. A web of such paths expands out in every direction. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:04pm The sweltering heat and and sulfur smell felt so wonderful I almost forgot about the danger. Helmson shook the reins fretfully, catching my attention. The sky was red. Smoke and all sorts of other scents swam in the heavy air, and it was hard for my lungs to get accustomed to it. I coughed a few times, and squinted. In the distance stood a glittering palace, a town clinging to it's edges. Memories rose painful in my throat. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:08pm "Where is that?" Aguthere asks excitedly. "Can we go there?" Without waiting for an answer, he kicks Eigil so gard that he goes forward. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:10pm "Stop threr," I snapped, more harshly than I meant. "It's...very dangerous there. For us." And why would you want to go there? I thought bitterly. Each of my heart's beats hurt. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:18pm "But...why not?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:23pm I was about to say something, but thought better of it. "Because demons don't like strangers," I finished quickly, which was true enough. I turned Helmson to head towards the right of the palace, as right as I could with the winding lava paths. Something about the place was drawing me. I cursed my emotional weakness. They wouldn't remember me, that was 15 years ago...15 was an eternity...they might even be dead... I turned my face I away, so threr couldn't see the tears building in my eyes. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:34pm Aguthere shrugs and folls you. Soon you reach the right side of the palace. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:37pm I was acting on impulses now, rather than rational thought. But if it kept animals alive it could keep me alive... We set up camp under a rocky bluff. As soon as Threr was asleep, I was sorely tempted to explore the palace. I suddenly found myself walking towards it. Another step, and another...I just couldn't keep away from it. Black hope clawed the insides of my chest... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:44pm In the black side of the wall, a small door stands slightly ajar, almost as though it were waiting... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:46pm I enter, cursing myself for my stupidity but not being able to do anything else. Inside it was pith black. I heard distant screaming... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:55pm The screaming seems to draw you towards it, despite being blood curdling. As you walk down the hall, a small figure slips through the door, sneking behind you.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 15th, 2003, 11:56pm I look around a corner, and see the what was making the racket. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 12:10am Around the corner, the screaming grows louder and you see.... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 12:16am It was obvious it was a torture room Several humans were caught up in the various devices, the dog-like Lesser Demons bending over them. In one corner stood a mountain of fire and smoke and darkness. I didn't need the flame-drop eyes, antelope horns or bat wings to tell it was one of them. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 12:27am Suddenly, something bumps into you. Aguthere hadn't seen you stop in the dark. He cries out. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 12:41am I grope for his mouth and hold it shut. I pushed him behind me, so he could not see the horror in that room. The Lesser Demons looked up at the noise. The monster in the corner started and stepped forward--a huge step forward, and the earth trembled. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 2:29pm (ruh-roh) The demon takes a nother step forward. The lesser ones peer around stupidly. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 2:35pm Everything in the air seemed to scream at me to run, but my feet were rooted to the spot. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 2:42pm Aguthere had orginally struggled, but realising it was you, calmed down. The monster lets a low growl then screams hoarsely "Get them, you fools!!!" The lesser demons growl, and leap- only they- don'y...seem to know where you are. Consequently, they end up jumping in all different directions- bumping into each other, getting mad---- wackiness ensues Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 2:45pm I press against the wall, hoping, heart pounding like a bass drum. I was almost sure they could hear it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 2:49pm Before long pretty much the only thing left of the demon is a few fatally wounded victors and a bunch of..er ...parts. The fire mountain demon looks at you out of burning eyes... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:01pm Sweat was very uncommon for a half-demon to feel, due to the rareness of becoming overheated. But now the stinging wetness coated my body. I backed into Aguthrer. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:07pm The demon steps forward shaking the earth with each step. You find yourself rooted to spot, petrified by his glare. He reaches out and grasps your neck, then lifts you high off the ground. There makes a funny little meep and scampers into the shadows. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:26pm I prayed for Threr to run with all his might back to the horses and to stay there. I dare not say anything to him, the demon would know then. So I struggled half-heartedly, trying to get around the choking in my throat. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:28pm The demon growls and throws you gainst the wall. Hard.(ow) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:33pm Stunned, it took me a while to gather the brains to start crawling painfully towards the exit. The humans in the torture devices look on, some indifferent, some deathly scared. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:40pm (don't forget dead, or unconscious)The demon growls at you again, then says "A maggot like you isn't worth my time. Tyrathor! throw him in the dungeon." A smaller demon walks in through the door... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:42pm I closed my eyes. No use to struggle anymore. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:46pm Thje demon hoists you up roughly. You hear the fire mountain dude stomp away through another door while Tyrathor leads you down a dank passage.(if dank is possible in the demon plane) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:48pm The demon was gentle, all things considered. His name was familiar too...awfully familiar...but I couldn't place it... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 3:50pm He leads you down into the lower dungeons and puts you in a cell that is actually halfway furnished, with a straw bed and shaky stool. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:01pm As I curled in the straw, I remembered..... Memories washed up, beating againt my chest and head until I was sure my veins were about to burst. I began to pace frantically, round and round, as memory after memory flushed over me. "Tyrann, dear, there's something we should tell you." "What?" I trotted eagerly over to her, hardly noticing the pain in her voice. I snuggled up, sticking my head under her arm. Kitaren smiled slowly, messing my hair. "Child, you are not a human. And...Meskat is not your father." My forehead grew heavy with wrinkles. "Really? Why?" "I would think you wouold have noticed already. That is why we keep you shut up from the world. If they were to discover you lived, and that I had borne you..." "Why does that make any difference?" I persisted stubbornly. "Tyrann, listen. You are part demon. Your father..." My mother heaved a sigh. "Your father was the War-Overseer. His name was Tyrathor." "But--" Mother just looked sadly on. She looked liked crying. She gathered me in my arms and stubbornly pushed them away. I rubbed my head against her chest. "You will have to run, child, run far awway from here. They know now. They are going to see you tomorrow. It is for the Cleansing, the spell they cast before you are officially are a slave. They'll see you and--" She choked. "If they find out, we will both die." The silence in the room pounded on my ears. My very blood shivered and trembled. "D-daddy too?" "Yes, Meskat too." I threw a rock against the wall. It wasn't fair! It just wasn't... But then again life was never fair. I groaned and fell back in the bed of straw, clasping my horns and lolling my head around. Waiting, waiting....waiting for something to happen. I hardly noticed the small shadow slipping towards the bars. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:11pm (sometimes having the curiosity of a ten year old can pay off) "Psst. Shade? You in there?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:12pm "Agu threr, get out of here!" I hissed, annoyed. I crawled towards the bars. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:19pm "No. I'm not leaving. Shade, where are we?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:20pm I groaned inside. Curse stubborn youth. "A demon estate." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:22pm "A demon esatate, huh. That could be interesting..." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:24pm "Aguthrer, you listen me," I cuff him lightly across the head. "You are not safe here. Go back to the horses. The only thing you'll find here is death. Go!" My last word echoed. I cringed. In the cell across, something stirred. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 4:57pm You hear scratchy singing coming from the cell "Oh, ther wonce was a man, heh, who called himseeellf ONION! Ahahahehehe" Aguthere sneaks pver to the cell and pears in- "Oh, hello!" the voice returns, "Are you the unicorn?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:37pm I pushed my talons in my palms and lay down resignedly. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:44pm You Threr adding in smell- "Uh"s and "huh"s as the stranger in the other cell continues with the conversation he seems to behaving, with himself. Finally There yells- "Would you shut up?!" "Oh, I'm sorry Mr.Rabbit sir, say you wouldn't mind given an old chap like miself some dragon liver would ya? With tulips on top!" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:47pm I blink, not understanding a word of it, and plug my ears. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:50pm "Through your plugged ears you hear the man singing loudlyagain."50 men on a dragons back- talked to him to see if hed talk back, but 'e just ate 'em up, yup." Aguythere comes back over to your cell- "This guy's creepy. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:55pm "Tell me about it," I muttered. "Probably gone mad with Cellrot." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:57pm Aguther nods. "How are we gonna get out of hear, you, I mean. Do you have something i could use to pick the lock?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 5:58pm "Are your talons long enough?" I felt in my pockets, not finding much. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 6:03pm "They might be. Let me try." Aguther's head disappears and you hear clinking from near where the doorknob would be, but before he can finish, you hear heavy footsteps coming down the hall. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 6:39pm I reconsider shoving Aguthrer into a hiding spot--his talons could be wrenched off. INstead I hissed at him to hide. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 6:51pm Aguther quickly withdraws, you hear him run aroubnd the corner. The footsteps draw nearer.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 6:53pm I peer out of the bars. Down the hall I see two-- Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 7:04pm Down the hall two haggard slaves are being led by a lesser demon. He leads them to a cel and pushes them in, then he comes to your door and unlocks it. He opens it and comes in, holding a nasty looking scimitar. "The General wants to speak with you," he snears as he clicks manicals onto your wrists. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 7:05pm Hoping Aguthrer didn't do anything stupid, I followed them without making trouble, wondering feverently what was going to happen to me now. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 7:10pm Thedemon leads you up and out of the dungeons, through the main torture chamber and into another one. You are surprised to see that Helmson is there as well as the demon who had orginally put you in the cell. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 7:21pm "Helmson?" I blurted out. "W-what are you doing here?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 7:36pm The horse just shakes his head and neighs, he looks at you then flicks his eys towards the demon, indicating he shouldn't talk. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 8:14pm The demons look at me strangely, but also stay slightly away from the horse. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 10:28pm "It's been a while since I've journeyed near demon etstaes. Perhaps that is why I was curious--to to see how things were...going." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 10:30pm "After running away? Curiosity killed the cat, Shade. You are meddling in affairs that are above you." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 10:34pm "Nothing new," I muttered, intending to be heard. I looked around the room, trying to be indifferent. I noticed very thin and haggrad woman giving me strange looks from the corner. It seemed like she had just ended her session on a torture device, as the demon guard shoved her out of the room. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 10:46pm A moment later you hear a loud thump as the woman apparently collaspes."Get up, ye filthy 'insert bad name here' " the lesser demon growled and kicked her in the stomach. The demon general groans and goes to close the door. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 16th, 2003, 10:48pm "Who was that?" Something inside fluttered when I looked at the woman, but I didn't know why. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 17th, 2003, 10:13am "No one important, now answer the question. Where is your companion." He annunciates every word carefully, as though thinking you didn't understand. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 17th, 2003, 12:07pm I flip my tail, becoming increasingly more irritated. "I told you already. He perished." So you think that you can take me on, you must be crazy...Not a single thing you've ever done, is gonna faze me... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 17th, 2003, 1:27pm The demon grunts. "Your mother was just as foolish. You see how well she fared." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 17th, 2003, 2:14pm "We'll see." My tail was lashing excitedly, and I couldn't make it calm. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 19th, 2003, 3:45pm "The demon smirks and walks over to Helmson, examining him carefully. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 19th, 2003, 11:48pm I shift, impatient, and glance at my manacles, wondering if I could manauver my hands through them.... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:08pm As Tyrathor examines the horse, Sahde struggles in the mancles. The rusty iron clinks ominously, but the loose cuffs fall off with a little coaxing. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:10pm I kick the cuffs behind me, and keep my hands in front of me, hoping no one would notice. I wondered feverishly what to do next. I focused on Tyrathor's back, wondering if I should spring, or wait until we got back to the cell...and an escape route... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:25pm The demon seems to be bent on ignoring you. He walks over to a complicated torture device and fiddles with it some. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:26pm I look around for guards. Maybe Helmson and I could take a run for it... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:30pm "Don't even think about running. You wouldn't make it 3 steps." Tyrathor says, back still turned. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:33pm Wanna bet? I took a very cautious footstep forward, being as silent as possible. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:36pm No reaction. He seems almost unaware of your presence. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:38pm Encouraged, I take another. And another, still trying to be quiet. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 7:51pm You keep moving untill the demons black is only a foot away. So close you can smell the scent of pure demon bloor- spicy, hot, poisonous. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 20th, 2003, 8:05pm I slowly eased onto helmson--easier said than done considering his five-and-a-half foot shoulder and my poor mounting techniques. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 23rd, 2003, 7:41pm You manage to get onto his back. Just as you are ready to spur him on, a blast of fire knocks you to the floor. Tyrathor's large figure looms over you. "I hate to say I told you... no wait- I love saying it. I told you so." (well wadayaknow- the demon has a sense of humor) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 23rd, 2003, 9:14pm I snaked my tail towards him cautiously, feigning shock. Tyrathor grinned. I curled it ever so lightly about his leg, and tensed the muscles. I blinked at Tyrathor's horny face. "Nice trick," I whispered. Tyrathor bent closer to hear. "Here's one of mine." I grabbed his snout, digging my claws into his nostrils and eyes once they were in reach. He reeled in pain, tripping over my tail. I leaped up. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 24th, 2003, 9:58pm ((go shade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)) The demon roars as he lands with a boom. You leap astride Helmson and gallop out the door, ducking your head so as not to hit it. Helson's metal clad hooves ring on the black stone floor. "Get back here you mongrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tyrathor roars. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 24th, 2003, 11:30pm "Oh yeah, like that's gonna get me back." The prison was like a maze, and searching for Aguthrer while I rode along didn't help my confusion. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 9:28pm As you ride along, a bell begins to toll wildly behind you. An alarm. Lesser demons pop out everywhere around you, clawing at Helson and your legs. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 9:33pm I wrap my hands around helmson's neck, kicking and lashing my tail in their faces. I attempt to snatch a sword from one. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:12pm The demon hangs on to the sword stubbornly, only to have his head cut off by another raging attacker. You pull up the sword, hacking and slashing. Through the ruccus, a familiar cry rings down the hall. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:25pm I peek between Helmson's ears. My blood ran cold. Aguthrer was curled in a ball in a corner, screaming as a demon attempted to rip him to shreds. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:29pm Helmson rears up,whistling shrilly. He brings down his heavy hooves on top of the demon and crushes its ribcage. The demon lets out a horrid squeel, and lies motionless. Aguthrer looks up and whimpers slightly.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:32pm I manauever close enough down to the ground to hoist him onto Helmson. I hold him close with one hand, swinging the sword with the other. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:40pm As you force your way through the demons, you start to feel like you know wher to go. The demons thin out as you get farther and farther away. finally, you reach a door, not the one you came in through- but an open door nontheless. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:44pm I duck to clear the door way. Helmson increases his stride, tryingto make it through the walls before the portcullis thudded down... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:55pm The heavy iron gate is being slowly lowered with creaking chains. You kick Helmson forward and he runs flat out. He lets out a whinny of pain as you slip under the gate, grazing his rump. A rough voice calls out from the battlements. "Tyrann!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 10:58pm I gasped, nearly falling off Helmson. Aguthrer whimpered as I shivered violently. I had not been called that for over 15 years... I looked back. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 11:12pm Tyrathor stood atop the castle walls, holding the neck of the slave woman you had seen earlier. "Boy, If you value your mother's life, you'll come back now." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 11:22pm "Dam," I muttered ((yes, I know you don't like curse words, but I think this time is appropiate )) I thought as fast as I could, going over crazy possibilities. All of which included things I didn't have. I sighed, slowly dismounting. I set Aguthrer on Helmson, weaving the mane between his fingers. "Hold on with your knees," I whispered. "Get out of here as fast as possible, Threr. And..." I choked. Slowly I leaned forward, to kiss his forehead. I slapped Helmson into a gallop. Gritting my teeth, I turned back to the palace. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 11:30pm ((In issues of life and death- curse words are more than acceptable)) The woman's feet dangle helplessly over the ground- a hundred feet below. She struggles lightly in the demon's grasp, but seems to have no strangth. Suddenly, a lous neigh breaks the air. Your initial fear is that Helmson had returned with Aguthrer, but another neigh comes from behind the demon. Over the peak of the wall, a winged horse emerges. Its hide and feathers seems to glow gold in the light from the molten rock. It takes you a minute to realise that it is Eigil. He whistles shrilly, and kicks out atthe demon. In shock, Tyrathor releases his hold. The woman falls and Eigil dives after her. At the last minute he draws up beneath her, catching her on his back. He flaps his wings and flies over the outer walls to where you stand."Get on quick!" he yells as he lands beside you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 26th, 2003, 11:33pm I clamped my gaping mouth shut, and mounted. My tail mirrored my heart as it fluttered wildly. I was finally with my mother again.... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Feb 27th, 2003, 7:12pm You alson notice that your pack and bow are slung accross Eigill's back. He takes off and flies away from the castle. When you bring yourself to look down at the ground, you see Helmson galloping full out below you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Feb 27th, 2003, 11:02pm I string my bow and look back, daring pursuers to just try it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 1st, 2003, 12:11pm Eigill flies lower and lans, seemlessly moving into a gallop at Helmson's side. "We have to get out of here!" Helmson yells to Eigill. "As long as we stay, they have the adavntage." "Don't think I havn't though of that," Eigill yells back. "Any ideas, Shade?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 2nd, 2003, 02:19am "If we can get back, the portal back home should still be there--if it's lasted 15 years, it should be able to last long enough for us." ((is it just me or do I say the phrase "15 years" a lot?)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 5:46pm (well- its a key number in your history.) "Easier said then done," Helmson says as his lungs negin to rasp with running so long and hard. "I have no clue where we are- or how to get back." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 5:49pm "Head for that bluff. 'Should be safe there until we find the way back." And, I added in thought Not a demon I know would dare go in that cave in the wall.Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 6:05pm Helmson and Eigill alter there stride to carry them towards the bluff, zig-zagging around lavapools. But before you had gone far, a high pitched scream issued from the sky above. A fleet of birdlike creatures flew down upon you. Demon soldiers sat upon there soldiers weilding long jagged bows with babrbed arrows. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 6:11pm I looked at the far away bluff, then nocked an arrow. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:02pm You fire a shot, and the arrow hits its mark. Sending a demon plummeting from his perch. Enraged the others fire a volley of arrows. Most stick harmlessly into the ground or fall hissing into lava. But one strikes Helmson. The horse whinnies in pain as the missile burries itself in his hindquarter. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:04pm Helmson stumbles and drops back, leg not functioning properly. He pulls back lips in a horse-grimace. Aguthrer, too frightened to make a noise, wraps his arms around Helmson's neck. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:11pm Your mother is clinging around you neck frantically. Eigill pulls back beside Helmson. "You must take the boy, Eigill," Helmson says in a pained voice. "He must live. I am lost." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:15pm Holding my mother with one arm, I grasp Aguthrer's shirt and haul him in front of me. "Helmson, drop, and stay still. Eigil, out-flying them might be the best chance." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:19pm "I hate to break it to you shade, but I can't fly with three people on my back." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:24pm "Go figure," I muttered. I let the rocking horse gait help me think. "It's me they want," I suddenly said. "Can you handle two, Eigil?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:27pm "Yes. What are you planning, Shade?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:30pm "If I told, you would protest." I looked up at the demons, gulping heavily. "There should be a cave in that bluff I showed you. I'll--I'll get back as soon as I can." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:34pm Eigill snorts, but slows so you get off. Helmson limps up, breathing heavilly. He neighs, and then drops to the ground heavilly. You can tell he is only acting when you catch a glint in his eyes that says 'If you're gonna die, do it right.' you contemplate the meaning of that, or what it could mean to you, and then... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:38pm "Play dead," I mouthed at him. Helmson Fell back to the ground, halfheartedly nosing the ground. I slid the knives out of my boots, putting one in Aguthrer's and the other in my mother's hand. I got off, shot arrows into the air for attention, sand began to lope away as they turned their heads and lead to me. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:40pm The demons scream and their steads shriek. They turn away from the others and swoop down on you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:45pm I increased my pace. ((keep in mind this guy's been roaming in the wild for most of his life, so he's prolly got real good endurance)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:49pm (no duh ) The winged demons quickly overtake you, untill the whole flock is circling around you. (air is usually faster ) One of the larger monsters swoops down.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:51pm I suddenly wondered if the bird-creatures could survive lava. I splashed into one of the streams, letting the heavy lava flow over my head and shoulders. Closing my eyes, I pushed through the heavy liquid, going down, down, as far as I could. I felt my clothes slowly distegrating in the intense heat. ((should he have Jersh's ability to breathe lava?)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:54pm (eh, why not?, you deserve it aafter the hell ive put shade through ) Faintly- you here demon growls above you. Then a splash as one dives in after you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 9:57pm The lava was impossible to see through. I slowed as I hit the muddy bottom ((well, muddy feeling, half-melted rock )). I felt his powerful strokes pounding against my ears. I felt a claw pierce my arm. The lava poured inside the wound, burning like heck. I manauvered, kicked, clawed, bit, and got the sulphiric brimstone clogged in my mouth and throat. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 10:02pm You here a faint scream as you claw at the demon. Finally his movement stops. The lava burns gently around you (if lava is ever gentle- comparative calm) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 10:04pm I choked on the lava and let go of the demon, letting the quiet current pull me away ever so slowly. I hurt, and was beginning to overheat. The heat irritated me and I thrashed around ((heat irritates me too--demon rage )) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 10:14pm (ruh-roh) Soon, the lava starts to get thinner around you, and the temperature gets hotter. (out of ideas ) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 3rd, 2003, 10:29pm I mindlessly clawed at everything in reach, including the body of the demon next to me. I couldn't deal with this any longer...I needed some cool air... I surfaced. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 4th, 2003, 9:21pm As you reach the top of the lavaflow, you find that somehow, you had ended up at the bottom of a lake. The water boils furiously around you, heated by the red hot pools of lava, fed by the volcanic world. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 4th, 2003, 9:33pm I moaned as the water began to sting like a thousand bees. I reeled this way and that, unable to concentrate as welts swelled angrily. I couldn't scream...I would lose my air. I was running out of it...I had to breathe...but I couldn't find the surface...I unconsciously parted lips... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 4th, 2003, 9:48pm Shade feels something riggling in his packet. Verde pokes out her small, green head. She flinches sightly as the water dims her form, but magical flame cannot be extinguised by water. She looks around and sees Shade fading into unconsciosness. Grabbing his shirt, she frantically shakes him, flicking her tail in his face, trying to keep his mouth closed. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 4th, 2003, 9:57pm I groan, feeling towards her warmth. It seemed the only thing keeping me from that...black, at the bottom of lake. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 6th, 2003, 9:06pm Verde tugs at your shirt, trying to go to the surface. She squeels as stone like hands wrap around your shoulders. What appear to be mermen made out of cooled lava had come up from their homes at the bottom of the lake. Thir eyes shine bright like magma as they swim towards the surface. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 10th, 2003, 9:07pm ((srry I didn't get to posting for a while, I was, uh, grounded)) I stop, staring at the merfolk. Thrills of fear and adrenalin went down my limbs, none strong enough to force me into action. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 5:24pm The mermen like creatures carry you upwards. Fially, you feel your head break out of the water. You look around bleerily to see that you are in some sort of underground cave system. The merfolk push you on shore, then dive back into the water. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 5:53pm Coughing and gasping I struggle as far away from the water as I could. I lay on my side, looking around. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 7:03pm Verde flutters around you anxiously. (my brain just went kaput) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 7:23pm I pushed myself to my elbows. I sniffed the air for lava. It could get me out of here... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 7:30pm You can smell only a faint hint. You're not sure it could lead you out. You look around and find that the walls of the cavern are a weird irridescant ignius rock. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 7:51pm I pick up a rock from the floor and slip it in a pouch for later investigating. Then, nose to the wind, turn to the smell of sulfur and brimstone. With a yelp, I realize the rock was...doing something to the pouch. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 8:32pm (uh...) With a loud thunk the rock falls to the ground. There is a hole in the bottom of your pouch. (acidic it is) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 8:47pm I stare at it, then slowly bend down to pick it up. ((does it hurt me?)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 8:56pm (uuuhhhhh) Verde looks at the rock inquisitively. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 11th, 2003, 8:59pm ((does it hurt me??)) I touch it with a finger. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 15th, 2003, 9:40pm ((ok- I really have no idea where this is going. lets say no- since its natural in the plane- and demons probably have a resistence to it, it just burns up cloth or something- and for lack of a better idea...)) Verde nudges the rock as well. After sniffing it a bit, she promptly opens her mouth... and swallows it. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 16th, 2003, 7:50pm ((not to be difficult, but fire and acid are natural in this "plane" and they hurt! )) "Verde! What did you do that for?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Mar 27th, 2003, 9:14pm She gives you a salamanderish grin (doesn't work as well as with lok ) She hiccups a little and a puff of icy crystals comes out. She crosses her eyes and looks at the small cloud. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Mar 29th, 2003, 8:11pm I blink stupidly, then look around. "Well, er, we might want to get moving. Threr and--er--Mother are probably worried." I cleared my throat against a sudden huskiness. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 1st, 2003, 4:26pm Verde hops up onto your shoulder. Her body seems a little colder han usual. You look around the ave and find that their is only one exit (save the way you came) and that is a small tunnel in the largest wall. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 1st, 2003, 10:21pm I walk into it. The place tightens, until I have to crawl. I suddenly back out, going forward tenetavively, then backing out again. I hated tight spots. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 8th, 2003, 4:18pm Verde whistles and flies through the tunnel. After a couple seconds she squeaks. The shrilll sound echoes.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 11th, 2003, 11:15pm Cursing, I wriggled through, struggling to unsheath my sword while my arm was pinned against my stomach. ((btw, I have an idea when we get to the cave Threr and the others are in)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 14th, 2003, 4:28pm (good cause i'm on a massive stretch of braindead for all adventures) Finally, you struggle out of the tunnel and fall at least 5 feet, landing with a thump. Your swrord pulls out of its scabbard with a'shhreeem' sound and a slight gleam of light. Verde's glowing form havers by your head. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 15th, 2003, 6:00pm I sit up and rub my head, which seems to insist on throbbing from the hard fall. I blinked and looked at Verde. "What happened?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 18th, 2003, 4:08pm Verde squeaks and zooms off. Immulinating a small radiance araound her. You catch the glint of her fire on some kind of sparkling stone. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 18th, 2003, 6:21pm ((on it? reflecting or burning on?)) I dash after her. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 23rd, 2003, 4:12pm (reflecting) She leads you accross the huge cavern. Stopping she squeaks and zooms around excitedly. Her light illuminates what looks like a wall of small boulders. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 23rd, 2003, 5:23pm I walk over to the boulders, examining them...and then trying to find--or make--a way through them. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 25th, 2003, 4:38pm There arn't any holes, but you find that the boulders near the top shift realtively easilly. As you pause in your work, you hear noises from the other side. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 25th, 2003, 6:35pm I find somewhere to peek through and squint at a few humanoid shapes standing in the next chamber. One seemed to be staring at my moving boulders in apprehension. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 28th, 2003, 4:07pm (are you thinking what I'm thinking?) The smaller of the humanoids walks forward, staring at the wall. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 28th, 2003, 8:42pm ((probably--what are you thinking?)) I push at more rocks, and one goes tumbling down, leaving a hole barely large enough for me to squeeze through. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Apr 30th, 2003, 4:33pm (two humanoids, two horses) Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Apr 30th, 2003, 8:45pm ((Helmson limped back then?)) I pushed through. "Shade!" The breath was knocked from my body as the smaller humanoid threw himself at me excitedly. I tried to get a hold of the little wriggling body. Easier said than done. "Threr? IS that you?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 5th, 2003, 4:47pm In answer, the little demon wraps his arms around yor neck. Good luck getting rid of him. Your mother is sitting near the fire, looking at you curiously. Helmson limps over and nudges your cheek. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 5th, 2003, 6:32pm I picked Aguthrer up after nuzzling his hair. "How did you get here?" I asked Helmson as I joined my mother by the fire. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 12th, 2003, 4:01pm "After the demons left I managed to make it back here." He lowers himself with a groan to the floor. "I don't suppose there's any water here is there? Eigil says gloomily, "cause some of us don't happen to be demons." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 13th, 2003, 3:29pm "I saw some...but it would be difficult to get..." I quickly related what had happened to me. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 18th, 2003, 9:04pm Verde chirps quietly and then squeaks as the fire around her head grows brighter. She scrabbles through the comapnies meager belongings and pulls out the empty water skin. She zips through the whole with a last squawk and disappears. Half an hour later, she comes back with a full skin. She looks a little haggard and dim from dealing with so much water, but after depositing her load, she crawls thankfully into the small fire, sighing contentedly. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 5:32pm "Thank you, Verde." I say sincerely, smiling. I somehow manage to shrug Aguthrer off long enough to "water" the horses. I also take a look at Helmson's wound, seeing if there was anything I could do for it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:01pm Helmson flicks his tail at you to say he's fine, and points his muzzle over to the frail woman huddled in a cloak by the fire. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:06pm I sat down quietly next to her, twitching my tail. Hesitantly I put my head on her shoulder. "I've missed you," I whispered. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:07pm She looks up, the blank expression on her face lessening a little. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:12pm "It's Tyrann, m-mom..." I closed my eyes, listening to her quickening breath. Aguthrer crept up on one side. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:16pm A tear creeps into her eye. "Ty- Tyrann? Is it really you." she asks hoarsely. You nodd, and with a jouyous cry she throws her arms around you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:21pm My breath kept catching in my throat as I put my arms around her. My heart was bouncing in happiness. Finally she pulled away, looking at me. She put one hand on my cheek, massaging gently. "You've grown so much." Her voice was croaky. I found her other hand and squeezed it. Aguthrer was staring at us, head tipped to the side. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:36pm Suddenkly, a commotion rang out from the back of the cavern. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:39pm I looked back, and saw a yellow light. and several shadows in front of it. The whatever-it-was paused, then moved forward again. It was people, lots of people, all tough and weathered looking, with crude weapons in their hands. One had a cross bow, which was pointed straight at me. Another, with a scar running from scalp to eye to mouth, stepped forward. I pushed Threr behind me. My mother choked. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:43pm "Who are you? And wha' do ye want?" the scarred man asked in a rough voice. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 19th, 2003, 9:50pm "We were seeking shelter. We mean you no harm." I stared the man steadily in his remaining eye. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 20th, 2003, 9:27pm "You fools, you'll lead them right to us!" the man growls. Your mother looks at him, astonished.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 20th, 2003, 9:30pm "If you know of some other place we can stay, lead the way." I growled, lashing my tail. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 20th, 2003, 9:36pm The man glares at you out of his eye, then turns it on the woman beside you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 20th, 2003, 9:38pm She squares her shoulders, returning the stare sternly. ((where do you think shade gets his stubborness from? )) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 7:20pm The man looks her up and down, and a strnge looks eneters his eye. His face freezes in an odd expression and the two stare at each other for what seems like ages. The other humans behind him shift uneasilly. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 7:28pm "K-Kit? Kitaren?" "Meskat?" I wasn't sure who moved, but suddenly they were together. My mother tucked herself in his arms, happy tears trickling down her face. Meskat kissed her hair, then looked at me. The men began to murmur to each other. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 8:41pm Threr slinksup behind you and slips his hand into yours. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 8:46pm I squeeze his hand. Meskat looked us over slowly. "Who are you?" "I'm Tyrann," I said softly. "This is Aguthrer." Meskat looked at the ground, nodding. Then he looked beyond us, out of the cave. He frowned. 'The demons are tracking you. They'll find us..." His last word hissed into silence. The portal...If only...Would it still be working? Would the demons follow us through it? "I think I have an idea..." I said. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 8:54pm Meskat looks at you with distrust, but your mother gives him a pleading look, and he sighs, lowering his gaze to the floor. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 8:57pm "There is a portal...to another world. I'm not sure if I can find it...but if I can, we might be able to find shelter on the other side." Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 9:14pm Meskat looks up. "I guess we don't have much of a choice, thanks to you." He turns to his followers and motions to listen to you. They gather around you, some frightened some distrustful, some hostile. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 9:21pm I sighed. "How soon could the demons get here? HOw many of you are there?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 9:53pm "The demons could be here any moments. There are 19 of us. The three of you make 22." "Thats 24, you one-eyed buffoon!" Eigil snorts at him. Helmson whickers admonsihingly, but the damage is done. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 10:04pm Meskat's face contorts between a venemous glare and an astonished look. "Eigil...none of that." I sigh again, looking at the crowd of men (and a few women). I pushed through them to look outside. There were several dark shapes on the horizon: hunting groups. I closed my eyes, thinking, trying to remember... Yes, up the slope, to the left, pass the blue rock, follow the wide lava stream...and there the portal should be. I took a deep breath. "Get what you need, and meet me up that slope--" I pointed it out "--fighters in the back and front of the group. Keep together." The dark shapes were getting big fast. I hurried Aguthrer and the horses up the slope, watching the others filing out behind me. Meskat and my mother appeared at my shoulder. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 10:20pm Meskat was grumbling to himself. You are almost to the portal when the first of the hunting groups catches up to you. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 23rd, 2003, 10:26pm The portal opens with rumble and hum. I could just see the sunny desert beyond. "Come on, get through!" I yelled. "Just walk through it! Helmson, lead them through!" Meskat roared out other orders. The crowd reluctantly flowed through. And then the first demon party hit. The a mob of lesser demons ran towards us, gibbering and snarling and roaring. They pounced on the last of the humans. I ran at them with my sword, knocking back a few. Some of the fighters took the hint, began to fight... As 5 of us guarded the rear, Meskat included, the last few humans slipped into the portal... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 25th, 2003, 11:31am The reamining 4 humans slip through, and you jump after them. The portal slams shut behind you, but it brought a friend... Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 25th, 2003, 11:38am The demon looked around at us and screeched in fear. Instead of dropping its sword however, it began to fight the more fiercely... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 26th, 2003, 7:30pm It lunges at you, leaving itself wide open.. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 26th, 2003, 7:41pm I thwack its side, hearing a satisfying squeal as it withdraws. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: May 31st, 2003, 6:52pm The demon twitches a bit, then lies still. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: May 31st, 2003, 9:51pm I poke it a few times to make sure, then turned back to the humans who stared at their surroundings with mixtures of fear, awe, and wonder on their faces. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 3rd, 2003, 1:39pm (Wherever the heck you are- but you're not in hell anymore- bit ironic, I'll shut up now- and now back to you regularly scheduled mayhem)
Threr walks up behind you and tugs on your tunic. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 3rd, 2003, 4:29pm ((prolly we're either back in the desert *shrug* I dunno)) "What is it, Threr?" I ask, still looking over the humans. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:03pm He stands up on tip toe and whispers in you ear. "I have to go to the bathroom." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:25pm I looked around. Wherever we were, we weren't in the desert. The air was damp, and everywhere you looked there was green . A river babbled nearby. I looked up, to see the top of the trees far far above. Plants climbed all over where patches of light peeped through tree leaves. A jungle. "Go behind a bush. Like that one." I gestured at a fern-like monster of a plant which tangled a foot above my head. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:34pm He grimmaces a little, then goes behind. You hear rustlings, and then... "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" You whirl around and see Threr being dangles in the air by a vine as thick as a tree root. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:45pm For moment I just stare, shocked. The next I was running towards the vine with my sword drawn. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:48pm You charge, but before you can get closer, something wollops you in the stomach and you are being hefted into the air. Another vine has twined itself around you. You look around to see the rest of the group struggling against vines as well. With a great swinging heave and a lot of creaking, you see the base of the vines lurch up from the ground and begin to walk forward on thick stubby roots that end in long whip like branches. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:50pm I struggle against the vine, thwacking it with my sword before it pins my arm to my side. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:53pm You travel for a very long uncomfortable time, during which everyone becomes too tired to continue struggling. You glimpse Threr, your step-father and mother occasionally, as well as Helmson and Eigill, each supported by 3 vines.

Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:54pm Finally the plant seemed to come to its destination... Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 2:59pm It comes to rest in the middle of a clearing in the trees. Somwhere on you journey, the landscape had turned from dense jungle to a more temeperate wood, composed of oaks, rowens, and birches. In the clearing, a large rock stood in the center. A carved basin made of some strange stone sat full of glistenineg water atoap it. The plant thing drops you all heavilly on the grounf and trundles away into the trees. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:00pm Aguthrer, curious as ever, had found a way on top of the rock and was now peering into the water, fascinated. No one seemed hurt so I joined him, wondering what was so interesting. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:08pm The water acts like an almost perfect mirror, rippling slightly and reflecting the sky aboce. You stare into it, until you sense a slight prickling on the back of you neck. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:09pm I look over my shoulder nervously, putting a hand on Threr's shoulder. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:17pm Several pairs of eyes are staring at you out of the underbrush. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:17pm Leaving Threr where he was, I jump down to investigate. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:43pm The eyes disappear with a slight rustle. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 5th, 2003, 3:44pm With my sword I gently push brush aside. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 8th, 2003, 10:05am You catch a quick glimpse os something sparkly, but there is notheing else. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 8th, 2003, 10:05pm I blink a few times, then turn to watch the others. Meskat approaches me cautiously, a strange look on his face. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 9th, 2003, 2:36pm He seems to be looking at something over your shoulder. You turn and see a tall woman standing at the edge of the clearing. Her long dress shimmer slightly and moves as if in a breeze, though the wind is still. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 9th, 2003, 7:18pm I took a few steps toward her, then stop, waiting for her to make a move Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 13th, 2003, 10:37pm She just stands there, looking at you serenely. A rustling behind her announces the arrival of several tentative little creatures. They are each about a foot high, with sharp yet delicate features and extremely long ears. They are each dressed quite differently in costumes ranging from short gowns of flowly dark blye and purple to little tunics made of starnge kinds of plant life. The peer at you from around the tall woman with wide glistening eyes that you know you've seen before. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 14th, 2003, 07:33am "Um, hello?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 15th, 2003, 9:17pm (you got that thing with the eyes didn't you?) The woman says softly, "I have been waiting for you." but she is looking at not you, but Meskat. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 16th, 2003, 10:17am ((believe so)) Meskat backs away unconciously. "Why?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 16th, 2003, 9:13pm (um- I havn't thought of that yet) ...(uuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) "We have known that you would come." "Not like that great weed gave us a choice." he mumbles. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 17th, 2003, 09:58am I look back and forth between the two nervously. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 17th, 2003, 9:57pm (I have absolutely no clue where this is going, I started this whole thing thinking about Titatnia and the forest crew (Oberon, Puck, Cobweb, Peasblossom, Moth, and Mustardseed.0 now I just don't know where to go. The Illiad has crushed my writing) Meskat and the woman stare at each other, neither moving. It seems like they are in a silently-aggreed-to staring contest and both are to proud or to stubborn to blink. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 18th, 2003, 3:05pm ((nor do I!! die iliad...)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 18th, 2003, 8:43pm (read the new thing in news)
uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
All of a sudden, a large pine cone hits you in the back of the head. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 21st, 2003, 10:53am "ow!" I look down at the pinecone and then up, rubbing my head. ((think of something already! even if you have to copy it over from something! heh, me impatient )) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 24th, 2003, 10:41am (prepare for a lawsuit for copuroght infringement by Willy) You see a smilinf face looking down at you from the trees above. Sitting on a low branch is a small man about twice as high as the little faeries around the woman. He has a huge smile on his face. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 24th, 2003, 11:36am "What was that for?" Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 29th, 2003, 10:58am The littel man laufhs mianicly and scampers off into the trees, throwing pine cones at the rest of the group as he goes.
Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jun 29th, 2003, 12:51pm I flick my tail, muttering something. I look back at Meskat and the woman. Meskat had moved closer to her, and she seemed in the process of explaining something. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jul 8th, 2003, 10:30am (am I supposed to say what shes explaining?)
The little faeries are now bustling around setting up a a low table with cushions around it. On top they place an assortment of foods that you have never seen before. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jul 8th, 2003, 9:51pm ((pretty pretty please?)) I walk around it, staring at the food, listening to the two with half an ear. ((Yea, see, I chopped my ear in half and then--nevermind...)) Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jul 18th, 2003, 4:35pm fred and George's eztendable ears!!! Reas it , havn't you?
"We thought you would come much sooner. What kept you?" "QA bunch of demons searching high and low making it d**n near impossible to survive let alone escape. Why do you care?" "Your people are of much importance to all of the world. You are the individuals who will hep the A'shin Vah accomplish his quest."

Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jun 15th, 2003, 9:17pm (you got that thing with the eyes didn't you?) The woman says softly, "I have been waiting for you." but she is looking at not you, but Meskat.

((I wonder if you're thinking of the willy I'm thinking of.))
"A'shin Vah?" asks Meskat. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jul 21st, 2003, 12:01pm ((I dunno- I'm just blubberin right now, very little clue where this going))
The woman points towards you, but you realize she is pointing not at you but at Aguthrer. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jul 22nd, 2003, 8:19pm Aguthrer gulps and looks up at me, slipping behind me. "But I'm not on a quest," he squeaks. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jul 25th, 2003, 12:28pm "Noy yet, little one. But you will be soon. Do you have the circlet Tyrann Vai?" Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jul 26th, 2003, 1:38pm "Somewhere," I murmured. I dug around in Helmson's packs (are they still on him or what?) and finally pulled it out. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Jul 28th, 2003, 9:45pm All of the faeries stare at the circlet intently, and the humans fall silent. Aguthere looks at it as though he is in a trance. His eyes are glossy and his mouth is slack. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Jul 30th, 2003, 5:10pm I look around, unnerved. I wave the circlet, to see what Aguthrer would do. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Aug 1st, 2003, 10:48pm His eyes follow the circle. Each gem reflected in his eyes. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Aug 2nd, 2003, 1:23pm I shift uncertainly, and look up at the woman Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Aug 3rd, 2003, 12:27pm "Give him the circlet, Shade." Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Aug 3rd, 2003, 8:01pm I press it into Aguthrer's hands. His fingers close around it as stares dazedly at it. Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Aug 3rd, 2003, 9:31pm uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Aug 3rd, 2003, 10:24pm does he just keep starinjg at it? Posted by: Valonia Posted on: Aug 5th, 2003, 1:42pm Meskat looks at the situation then says loudly, "And exactly what is that thing?"
The woman replies, "It is the Circlet of The A'shin Va. It will help him achieve his quest"
"What quest?"
"The quest to join the races in harmony," the faerie woman says a bit tersely. Posted by: Tyrann Posted on: Aug 5th, 2003, 1:47pm "Good luck, " I muttered
